Earl Maynard won the 1964 NABBA Pro Universe. A year later he was one of 3 competitors vying for the inaugural Mr Olympia title alongside Harold Poole and Larry Scott. Note that a young Serge Nubret would finish second to Earl in the Tall Man height class.
