In 1964 Larry Scott and Harold Poole were amongst the dominant bodybuilders of the era. Larry took out the IFBB Mr Universe whilst Harold went on to win the IFBB Mr America. The events were held on the same night in front of a capacity crowd of 2,500 fans. Both these men would go on to battle out the inaugural Mr Olympia the following year.
