The 1980 Mr Olympia is and will remain the most debated and fascinating bodybuilding contest of all time. It showcased the cream of the golden era bodybuilders (with a few notable exceptions – Robby Robinson, Franco Columbu, Serge Nubret and Kalman Szkalak). Arnold Schwarzenegger won his seventh Mr. Olympia and officially retired from professional bodybuilding. The controversy and fallout from the event still lives on today.
