Vince Gironda was know as the ‘Iron Guru’ and introduced a number of routines and diets that have been recycled in different forms over the years. This is his 10-10-10 principal. Pick 10 exercises to work the whole body and do 10 sets of each exercise for 10 reps per set. I had a crack at this in my younger years (3 workouts a week). I did it for a month all up. It was too demanding to go any longer. Very, very difficult to do. Too much work for today’s generation and I’m sure they will come up with a million scientific reasons on why not to do it.
From memory my 10 exercises were standing calves, leg curl, leg extension, leg press (Vince wasn’t keen on squats), chin ups, barbell rows, dips, barbell flat presses to neck (Vince wasn’t keen on bench presses) , barbell shoulder presses and barbell bicep curls.
