More on the Southern Physique Association (SPA) and its founder Doris Barrilleaux. This article also cover the 1979 Ms Florida event which was the organization’s first event (I believe). Kathy Lewis would win the event. Other notibles in the contest were Georgia (Fudge) Miller (3rd), Laura Combes (5th) and Doris Barrilleaux (7th).
