On Saturday 2nd October 1971 in the Welsh steel town of Talbot Wag Bennet held the IFBB version of the Mr & Miss Britain title. Al Beckles and Arnold Schwarzenegger guest posed before the contests. Peter Phillips would win the crown ahead of Johnny Fuller, Julie Marcus would take the female title whilst Bertil Fox would take the junior title.
