The AAU Delmarva is a bodybuilding and bench press competition held on the banks of Chesapeake Bay, Baltimore, Maryland. All competitions are held on the grasses of the banks in the open sunshine. It was an annual event in the 1970’s and this article cover the 1976 event. Jan Novak would take the Mr Delmarva title and Ron Teufel, a bodybuilder on the rise, would bench press 425lbs to win his weight class.
