The 1979 Pro Mr Universe was held at the Sydney Opera House. Robby Robinson was planned to compete in this show and was considered the main drawcard. Unfortunately, Robby did not make his way to Australia. Roy Callendar did and won the show from Albert Beckles and Tony Emmott.
