A fantastic editorial on Australian Muscle Woman Joy Dobson. Amongst other things Joy was an exceptional violin player who was banned from the IFBB due to her occupation as a striptease artist. After the ban Joy would focus her attention of her other love powerlifting. Joy was also a strong advocate against drugs in sport. She would have a bit role in the ‘Mad Max’ franchise and also feature in the Stephen Cummings rock video ‘Gymnasium’ which was a hit on the Australian charts in the mid 1980’s.
