Astronomical Arms

An excellent article on the evolution of arm size.  In the 1940’s a 14″ arm would win a national title, the the 1950’s an arm of 16″ was considered ‘out of this world’.  However, by the late 1960’s a new breed of bodybuilder beefed up the arm size to exceed 20″!.  Leading the gang were Schwarzenegger 23″, Oliva 22 1/2″, Draper 22″ and Rick Wayne 21″.  Roy Callender claimed the biggest arm in Britain at 21 1/2″.
