A great editorial on a 23 year old Roy Callender in the lead up to the 1970 IFBB Mr World. Roy would finish 2nd in his class to Rick Wayne at the contest. He would compete in the NABBA Mr Universe the following year taking a respectful 2nd behind Albert Beckles in his class. This would be his last competition for 6 years as he would turn his attention to professional wrestling before a triumphant return to bodybuilding in 1977. He would capture the Canadian National Championship as the first step to greater things to come.
